Short description

The course gives an comprehensive overview of research methods, ways of presentation outcomes and making statistical and interpretative analysis. During the course specific research’s language is also presented. Students will learn how to use theoretical knowledge in practice too. 

Objectives

The participants will develop skills for:

 

 acquiring the ability to plan, conduct, and write scientific work (eg transfer work, transfer documentation and reports, feasibility study work and master's thesis)

 getting instructions for literature search in both classical and electronic (through databases and online resources) ways.

 exercising their scientific art of argumentation,

 addressing the issue of formal design and presentation of scientific work,

 knowing the principles of empirical work,

 being able to solve problems on their own and in proper time using scientific methods,

 recognizing the possibilities of combining different disciplines and aspects of their own company to solve problems

 getting insights about how to deal with the flood of information in daily practice of decision-making.
