Short description

The course will provide methodologies and techniques necessary for understanding of IT position in decision-making processes. The information technology is an important tool in creating successful structure that will influence business level of efficiency and profitability. Also, it will provide an adequate level of knowledge needed for understanding of e-business and modern IT surroundings.


The participants will:

- be introduced to the various areas of information technology,

- acquire skills for dealing with IT managers and IT staff,

- understand the main tasks of technology management and become able to divide these into subtasks,

- be aware of the dynamics of the IT progress and its effects,

- understand the basics and technical requirements of e-business,

- understand the basics of computer-based information systems and

- improve their basis for decision-making concerning the appropriate use of IT in professional practice.
